Beryl
Beryl is a complex aluminum cyclosilicate. Beryl has many varieties, such as Aquamarine, Emerald, Morganite, and Heliodor. Crystals of the mineral are noted for their hexagonal shape.
Uses
Beryl mainly serves as a gemstone and collectible mineral. However, Beryl may be used to derive Beryllium, an important metal used for the production of mechanical parts and alloys.
